Ray is a private detective in heavy debt to some extremely heavy gangsters. The only way to stay alive is to track down a man who has changed his identity several times. He discovers this was a child who murdered another child years before, as well as a personal link to the figure.

His dilemma: Should he betray someone who has paid his debt to society, or face up to his own guilt about the initial crime?
